• 320 km

And this is how I found my ride in the morning.

A nice touch of the landlord to cover the bike with a blanket. Furthermore , nothing but white, wherever you could see. I slept late, had some breakfast, brushed my teeth and poured some water in my face. I went for a walk at the farm, said hello to sheep and chickens, and waited for some sunshine and thaw.

In the early afternoon I decided to give it a try , but first I needed to do some prospecting towards Murghab. Hopefully I could make it to the border @ 4000 meter. No such thing. Snow and mud at 20 km from the border. I wasn't going to waste a lot of time here and decided to return.

Back in Sary Tash I met the same Germans whom I spoke to in the hotel in Osh. Had a coffee, some food and a lot of laughs ...

They eased my mind about the way back to Osh. No snow at all...

I got there around 17:00 h , spent half an hour in a warm bathtub, an had dinner with a French biker with the name of Jean Luc. The poor guy had hurt his knee seriously and was already in convalescence for a whole week. But he is persistent enough to heal and carry on to Mongolia.

Being knackered after all these days, I passed out soon after dinner....
